Site work for a civil project in Orangeville, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Town of Orangeville (the Town) is seeking Bids from experienced contractors for cleaning, repairs and upgrades at Dudgeon Reservoir. The project generally includes the following work: - Cleaning of the two reservoir cells and corresponding sump chambers. - Replacement of four existing aluminum access ladders in the reservoir cells and sump chambers with new FRP ladders. - Installation of a top-mounted davit base at the reservoir and sump chamber access hatch area. - Coordination with the Town operations staff to drain and fill the reservoirs. - Disinfection of the reservoir cells and sump chambers, and allowance for microbiological testing by Town prior to completion of project. - Replacement of existing 350mm watermain isolation gate valve, including removal and disposal of existing 1200mm diameter concrete manhole.
