SCOPE OF WORK
The following scope of work constitutes the minimum requirements to meet the City's objectives for the Pearl Avenue Replacement Project. Such deliverables would require selected consultant to:
Perform a technical constructability review and bring suggestions to the City for consideration of potential cost-savings metrics
Perform underground utility research to update what was done for the original design.
Contact underground utilities and request current as-builts. Compare current underground utility as-builts with original plan, and develop an updated substructure plan
Update technical specifications, updating references to expired codes and outdated melements included in existing design
Update City of Compton provided electronic CAD files for constructability review considerations agreed upon with the City. Update to include any additional new or modified underground utilities noted from research.
Provide a new construction cost estimate, including contingency.
Update Bid Sheet and Bid Sheet explanations to align with the new construction cost estimate provided.
Perform as needed technical evaluations Deadline for submission of written questions to the City: January 6, 2023 at 5:00 P.M. (Questions should be e-mailed to Kofi Sefa-Boakye at kboakye@comptoncity.org). The City reserves the right to amend, withdraw and cancel this RFP. The City reserves the right to reject all responses to this RFP at any time prior to contract execution. The City reserves the right to request or obtain additional information about any and all submittals.
