Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Long Beach, California. Working plans call for the renovation of a 8,820-square-foot, two-story above grade fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; office development; office development; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

**As of June 19,2023, all bids rejected. No definite date for the rebid.** The Work for the Long Beach Fire Department Station 14 consists of interior improvements to meet required gender accommodations and accessibility improvements. Scope includes the renovation of existing second floor office, gym, sleeping areas, restrooms into an office, laundry room, private sleeping rooms, and private restrooms. Reconfigure the first floor Captain's Dormitory and restroom into two (2) dormitory rooms and accessible restrooms. Refurbish and redecorate existing and new restrooms with new plumbing fixtures, flooring, wall and ceiling finishes. Plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems will be upgraded, refurbished or added to as appropriate. Additional building improvements include a new roof, new windows/infill existing windows, new smoke alarm system, Fire Station alerting system, telephone, cable TV, and communications systems. Site improvements include revisions to existing parking, sidewalk/hardscape, entry door hardware, improvements to the storm drain lines and systems, and accessibility signage. Bids are required for the entire Work indicated on the Drawings and Specifications. SMALL BUSINESS ENTERPRISE (SBE) PROGRAM: Bidders are advised that this project is subject to the City's SBE Program. See Divisions C and E of the Specifications. PROJECT LABOR AGREEMENT: This Work is covered by a Citywide Project Labor Agreement (PLA) entered into by the City of Long Beach with the Los Angeles/Orange Counties Building and Construction Trades Council and the signatory Craft Unions. The PLA establishes the labor relations Policies and Procedures for the City, the Contractor and subcontractors awarded contracts for the Work and for the craft persons employed by the Contractor or subcontractor while engaged in the Work. See Division E of the specifications for the applicable PLA. CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE: The Contractor shall possess a valid California Class A or B Contractor license at the time of contract award.
