As of December 15, 2022, construction is underway as of August, 2022, and expected to be completed in June, 2023. The Work shall include but not limited to all labor, equipment and materials necessary to complete the following work: This work shall include but not limited to furnishing all labor, equipment and materials necessary for installation of new 6-inch/8-inch/12-inch polyvinyl chloride pipe, wax tape of ductile iron flanges, tape wrap and polyethylene wrapped ductile iron fittings, couplings, thrust blocks, valve anchors; installation of 6-inch/8-inch/12-inch gate valves; installation of 12-inch insertion valves; installation of 1-inch/2-inch water services, fire services and air relief valve assemblies; installation of fire hydrant assemblies; installation of 2-inch blow-off assemblies; connections to existing water mains; installation of PVC casing; relocation of existing sewer laterals; abandonment of existing water main, services, valves and fire hydrant laterals; removal and disposal of existing fire hydrant head and bury; appurtenant items such as traffic control, pavement removal and replacement, excavation, backfill and compaction, pressure testing and disinfection, and all other work necessary to complete this project complete in place. The Work must be completed within three hundred and fifteen (315) calendar days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make award to the lowest responsible bidder as it may best serve the interest of the Owner.
