City of Tulare, State of California, will receive sealed bids for the purchase of approximately 240,000 pounds of Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) to be dispensed at various fill sites and necessary equipment, parts, and changeout service of same for the period of (3) three years, February 1, 2023, through January 31, 2026. The City hereby affirmatively ensures that minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this notice and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, handicap, gender, or religion in any consideration leading to the award of contract. No qualified handicapped person shall, on the basis of handicap, be excluded from participating in, be denied the benefits of, or otherwise be subjected to discrimination in any consideration leading to the award of contract. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder who best complies with the bid specifications as determined by the bid analysis.
