The purpose of this Request for Proposal (REP) is to obtain proposals from qualified offerors, or a team of offerors, to provide pricing for the installation, removal, repair, and/or adjustment of lighting materials at other Parks, Recreation and Leisure Services Special Events on an "as needed" basis. Contractor shall perform to the highest standard in determining specific lighting materials to be utilized and the location at which the lighting materials shall be installed. Contractor to provide lighting materials, including installation and removal of the lighting materials, for the City of Hampton's Holiday Wonder Walk located at the City of Hampton's Waterwalk Trail at the Hampton Coliseum, 1000 Coliseum Drive, Hampton, Virginia 23666. And other Department of Parks, Recreation and Leisure Services events, festivals, and programs on an as needed basis. The Contractor shall work with the Department of Parks, Recreation & Leisure Services Special Event staff prior to and during the Holiday Wonder Walk, or other related special events to determine specific lighting materials to be utilized and the location at which the lighting materials shall be installed. All proposals should include information regarding types of lighting materials available (for example, wash lights, tree-wraps, wave gobos, die-cuts) -- including the size, color, and quantity of the lighting material -- and the associated pricing for the installation and removal of the lighting material identified. Additionally, all proposals should include pricing for repair and/or adjustment of installed lighting materials on an as needed basis during the Holiday Wonder Walk or other Parks, Recreation and Leisure Services special events. Successful Offeror will provide holiday lights and features along a 1.25 mile walking trail between the Hampton Coliseum and Freeman Drive, containing areas of waterfront, open fields, marsh, foot bridges, and wooded areas to include wrap-lighting for tree trunks, meteor lights for some trees, string lights for multiple areas and structures, up-lights and washes for spans of trees, cross-lighting for marsh lands, up-lights for featured trees, path lights across all walking areas, up- lights and C-7 strings for cedar "community trees," feature and path lights behind the Hampton Coliseum, feature lights for all tents and stages, as well as motion gobos in feature areas projected onto tension shade structures and other custom props. All lights to include installation and adjustments, including custom color gels and die-cuts as requested. Offerors are encouraged to submit package which best highlight the various features along the trail for holiday excitement and interest. In addition to specific pricing related to the Holiday Wonder Walk, Offerors should include pricing for the installation, removal, repair, and/or adjustment of lighting materials at other Parks, Recreation and Leisure Services special events on an as needed basis.
