Renovation of a military facility in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Design plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
As of September 13, 2023, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the design status. It is anticipated construction will start in May 2024 and end in December 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: PROJECT REQUEST: Department of Military Affairs requests the release of $35,000 Building Trust Funds to prepare Design Report and Preliminary Design documents for the Elkhorn Readiness Center Replace Boiler and Update DDC project. PROJECT NUMBER: 22F1D PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project will replace the existing steam boiler and piping converting the building to hot water heating by utilizing high efficiency condensing type boilers. This project also adds new building controls to monitor HVAC remotely. 1. Install 2 new high efficiency Hot Water condensing boilers 2. Install new hot water piping, primary, and secondary pumps, and expansion tank 3. Install new water condition system for boilers 3. Install new fin tube exchangers throughout the building 2. Install new DDC system that Monitors new boilers and integrates existing HVAC
