The project entails spot pavement repair and edge repair in various locations throughout the City of Blanco. The project scope includes approximately 3,125 square yards of pavement repair which will be split into one or more tasks orders. Pavement repair and edge repair areas will be identified and located in the field by the City Engineer. Pavement repair and edge repair shall be performed in accordance with the pavement repair details and technical specifications included within this request for proposal and technical specifications. This task order contract shall be terminated three hundred and sixty-five (365} calendar days after the issuance of the first task order. The construction time (in calendar days} for each individual task order will be negotiated between the City Engineer and the Contractor. The Contractor will be expected to begin construction for each individual task order within 7 calendar days of the notice to proceed. No direct payment shall be made for mobilization, insurance, bonding, preparing right-of-way, traffic control, removing and hauling off material, and all other subsidiary construction methods. The Contractor shall include these costs as part of the various bid items. When all work on an issued Task Order is complete in full, and the Contractor has received from the City both a Notice of Substantial Completion and Final Completion of Work, Contractor shall submit the final payment request and notate that the applicable payment request is Final. The Task Order will then be closed out by City and Contractor. Upon completion of payment request cycle and receipt of final payment by Contractor, Contractor agrees that all balances associated with Task Order have been paid in full. Final payment by the City shall constitute Final Completion of Work.
