Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Independence, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility; for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and transportation facility.
This contract provides for, but is not limited to, ADA upgrades and restoration to both the interior and exterior of the Historic Truman Depot building. Interior building features and systems designated for improvement consists of flooring, interior trim, lighting, doors, painting, plumbing fixtures, water heater, communications, electrical and HVAC. Exterior building restoration consists of repairs to guttering and downspouts, wood rot repair, masonry re-pointing and providing ADA compliant building access. In addition, this contract provides for constructing ADA compliant pedestrian and bicycle facilities along W. Pacific Ave. from S. Grand Ave. to S. Pleasant Street. Improvement consists of but are not limited to constructing curb and adjacent sidewalk and handicap ramps on the North side of W. Pacific Ave., in addition to constructing on-street bicycle facilities on both sides of the street, consisting of signage, striping and shared-use lane pavement marking. Ancillary items consist of driveway reconstruction, sodding, traffic control, erosion control and all appurtenant work for the completion of the project. Project No. 70511702.
