Renovation of a multi-residential development in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The HOLYOKE HOUSING AUTHORITY, (the Owner and Awarding Authority), invites sealed bids from GENERAL CONTRACTORS for construction of ROOF REPLACEMENT, CONGREGATE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT, 667-3; in accordance with the documents prepared by Leon Pernice And Associates Inc. AIA, ArchitectsPlanners-Interior Designers, 34 Mt. Pleasant Avenue, West Springfield, Massachusetts. The Project consists of replacement of asphalt shingled roofing systems, flashings, accessories and related work; also, new attic insulation on a two story multi-family residence building located at 43 Lower Westfield Road, Holyoke, MA., on a site owned by the Holyoke Housing Authority in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Notice to Proceed for this Project may be issued as much as 90 days from the date DHCD approves the construction contract. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L.c.149 26 to 27H inclusive. Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the category of Roofing. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid deposit that is not less than five percent (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (including the Alternate) and made payable to the Holyoke Housing Authority.
