The Project includes the following Work: The replacement of approximately 2,245 lineal feet of 6 PVC Water Main, Class 160, SDR 26, 260 lineal feet of Bore & Jack 12 Steel Casing w/6 Yelomine Pipe, Class 200, SDR 21, 1930 lineal feet of Directional Bore 6 Yelomine, Class 200, SDR 21, 270 lineal feet of Directional Bore 6 PVC Class 160, SDR 26, connect to 49 existing meters, hydrants, valves, and appurtenances. Bids are requested for the following Contract: City of St. Elmo Watermain Replacement Phase 2 Project. Obtaining the Bidding Documents The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Milano and Grunloh Engineers, LLC 114 W. Washington Ave., Effingham, IL 62401 OR City of St. Elmo 411 West Main Street, St. Elmo, IL 62458 Some of the project funding would be from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. Attention is called to the fact that the firm must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin and that Federal Section 3 and all other Federal, State and Local provisions shall apply. The City of St. Elmo reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any informalities in the procurement process Per the requirements of the Steel Products Procurement Act (30 ILCS 565 et seq.), any steel products used in accordance with this project shall be manufactured or produced in the United States of America. Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office or- Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. 4:30 p.m., and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents frorr the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents' will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office by paying a fee of $25.00 for each set. Deposit checks for bidding documents should be made to Milano & Grunloh Engineers, LLC. There will be no refunds issued for bidding documents. Prime Contractors are required to be registered and active on website (System for Award Management) prior to issuance of bid documents.
