The bids are for multiple Prime Contracts as indicated by DCI Group for the construction of the playground at Big Elementary School in Polk City, IA. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis; segregated sub-bids will not be accepted. Work is anticipated to commence upon award of contract, and be completed by July 13", 2024, as shown in the Contract Documents. A public hearing will be conducted at a meeting to be held at District Office Board Room at 13930 NE 6th Street, Alleman, IA 50007, at 6:00 p.m., local time, on December 19", 2022, at which time and place any person may appear and file objections to the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract, and the estimated cost of said project.
