Provide all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation and all incidentals required and/or implied for the complete and satisfactory performance necessary for the upgrade of existing electrical service equipment at Hanover School Board Office. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bid Documents or Contract Documents shall be submitted to Angela Melton and the A&E in writing. In order to receive consideration, questions should be received by the A&E prior to 2:00 P.M., January 9, 2023. Any changes made to the written requirements of the Bid Documents shall be made by written addendum only. If the total bid price, including any add alternates and not excluding any deduct alternates, exceeds $100,000, the Bid shall be accompanied by Bid security in the amount of five (5%) percent of the Bid amount in the form of a Bid Bond from a Surety legally authorized to do business in Virginia, or a cashier's check, or certified check payable to HANOVER COUNTY, VIRGINIA; AIA DOCUMENT A310-2010 or latest version may be used for this purpose. The Bid Bond shall be enclosed in the sealed envelope containing the Bid. The Bidder shall require the attorney-in-fact that executed the Bid Bond on behalf of the surety company to affix thereto a certified and current copy of the power of attorney. The Bidder shall pay the cost of providing the Bid security PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BOND: For any contract awarded exceeding $100,000 a Performance Bond and Payment Bond (AIA DOCUMENT A312-2010 or latest version), each in an amount equal to one-hundred (100%) percent of the contract amount, is required.
