Site work for a water / sewer project in Farmville, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Contractor shall provide pipe rehabilitation services (spray on liner), per the specifications of this solicitation. Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Sandra Mullins at Sandra.Mullins@VDOT.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than 5:00 PM on December 28, 2022 The Contractor shall apply a sprayed on pipe liner to the inside of the existing structures. The scope of work shall include cleaning and preparing the existing pipe, installing and removing cofferdams and pump operations for handling water, application of the liner, inspection and testing of liner and water quality testing. The bid pricing shall also include all materials, tools, labor, any traffic control needed, all disposal costs incurred and any incidentals required to perform the work. Due to severe deterioration of pipe, undermining of culvert bedding and backfill material, a two-component structural hydrophobic high-density polyurethane resin shall be injected using the "through wall method" to fill any possible voids prior to installing spray liner.
