It is the intent of Greenville Utilities Commission (GUC) to enter into a multi-year contract at the time the contract is awarded by GUC to the successful bidder for a total contract period not to exceed three (3) years. Prices shall remain fixed during the first year with option for annual extensions at the same or negotiated unit prices for up to two (2) additional years if market and service conditions so warrant and prove to be in the best interest of GUC. Item I 24" Manhole Rings and Covers are to be Solid (No Vent Holes), East Jordan #V1384 with ring & cover marked Sanitary Sewer or US Foundry 669 KL with ring & cover marked Sanitary Sewer. The successful bidder is to maintain a safety stock of 12 rings & covers. (GUC Stock #401030) Item II 24" Water Tight, Bolt-Down Manhole Rings & Covers (Standard) are to be EJIW #202702 frame & cover with water tight gaskets and camlocks or USF 710 Ring & LJ-SSG cover with water tight gaskets and camlocks. All covers marked Sanitary Sewer. (GUC Stock #401830) Item III 24" Water Tight, Bolt-Down Manhole Rings & Covers (Shallow) are to be EJIW Shallow #202606 ring & cover with water tight gaskets and camlocks or USF Shallow 725-LJ-SSG with water tight gaskets and camlocks. All covers marked Sanitary Sewer. (GUC Stock #401831) Item IV 24" Manhole Rings & Covers, 4"(Low- Profile) are to be EJIW #V1384-4 low profile ring & cover or USF 664 KL shallow low profile ring & cover.
