As of January 6, 2023, project was awarded to Lake Murray Utility Company, Inc., awarded amount is $807,943.50. The purpose of the project is to replace the existing water system to improve the water quality for the subdivision. Work covered by these contract documents are itemized in the bid advertisement and illustrated on the plans. Work called for by these specifications consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials and appurtenances required to perform all operations in connection with the following: o Construction of new 8" and 6" PVC Water Mains o Construction of New Water System to the Existing o Water Service Renewal o Fire Hydrant Replacement o Abandonment of Existing Water System o Installation of Flowable Fill within the Trench Areas o Resurfacing of Trenches within Paved Areas o Landscape, Driveway and Sidewalk Repairs Additional work may be required at the City's discretion due to unforeseen site conditions. The work of this project is locate in Columbia, SC. The following roads within the Project Area are under the jurisdiction of the SCDOT: o Mcrae St. o Williamsburg Dr. o Coronado Dr. o Chesterfield Dr.
