For the construction of the Lyman Main Street Water Project The Project consists of the installation of two 60 water line crossings, several caps with thrust blocks, tees, crosses, valves, and associated service lines with paved road surface repair within the limits of Town of Lyman, Wyoming. Each BIDDER will be required to submit, with his proposal, a Bid Bond made payable without condition to the Town of Lyman in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the BIDDERs maximum Bid Price as guarantee that such BIDDER will enter into a contract within thirty (30) days after the date of the OWNERs Notice of Award. Qualified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) are encouraged to submit bids on this project. Bidders that use a subcontractor(s)/supplier(s) are required to make a good faith effort at soliciting DBE subcontractor/supplier participation. Bidders shall submit the required DBE Good Faith Effort Documentation form and other related forms with their bids. Pursuant to W.S. 16-6-106, preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment, machinery and provisions produced, manufactured, supplied or grown in Wyoming, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the state. The procurement will be subject to the Use of American Iron and Steel requirements as contained in Section 436 of H.R. 3547, The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2014. The Successful Bidder will be required to provide contract securities (payment and performance bonds) each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price after Notice of Award. The Town of Lyman reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part of any bid, to waive any formality in any bid, as its best interest may appear.
