Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Salunga, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Bids must cover all costs for the completion of this project as set forth in the Project Manual. The principal items of work to be performed under the contract are: 1) full-depth pavement patch repairs, pavement milling and overlay, curb ramp replacement and installation at Landisville Campus Quad parking lot; 2) full-depth pavement replacement, pavement milling and overlay, replacement of concrete sidewalk, loading dock repairs; curb ramp replacement and installation, repair of critical drainage inlets and surrounding pavement, and removal of playground equipment and play areas at the Landisville Primary Center; 3) curb ramp replacement and installation, concrete sidewalk repair and replacement, and repair critical drainage inlets and surrounding pavement on north loop of Administration Building; 4) full-depth pavement replacement, and concrete curb replacement at Old School access and parking area; 5) removal of inlaid brick and lighted bollards; and installation of concrete sidewalk at Rohrerstown Elementary School and Mountville Elementary School; 6) replacement of concrete sidewalk, concrete steps and handrail repairs, and depressed access ramp at daycare area of High School; and 7) pavement sealing and long-term preventative work, pavement milling and overlay, loading dock repairs, replacement of concrete sidewalk, installation of yard drain and perforated discharge pipe, and repair critical drainage inlets and surrounding pavement at East Petersburg Elementary School; and 8) restriping of paved or sealed areas. A fee 0.25% of the bid total, capped at $5,000, is assessed only to the Bidders who are awarded the project. Bid security in an amount not less than 10% of the amount of the bid will be required in the form of certified check, cashier s check, bank treasurer s check, or satisfactory bid bond made payable to or naming as obligee Hempfield School District, Lancaster County. All bids will remain irrevocable for 60 days after the actual date of bid opening in compliance with Act 317 of 1978 approved November 26, 1978. Bidders are advised that they must comply with All State anti-kickback regulations pertaining to work associated with this project. You are required to submit an executed anti-collusion statement with the bid. Laws and regulations applicable to this Contract include the following: Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act No. 442 Session of 1961) Public School Code A Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract and each with satisfactory corporate surety, will be required to be furnished by the successful bidder at the time stated in the specifications. Hempfield School District hereby reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, or informalities, in bids received, to reject any and/or all bids submitted and to accept any bid which it may deem to be in the best interests of the School District.
