Town of Johnston is requesting bids for Miscellaneous Highway Materials. The Town of Johnston reserves the right to reject any or all responses or parts thereof, to waive any informality in them, or accept any bid deemed in the best interest of the Town. The Town of Johnston will offer interpreters for the hearing impaired provided the request is at least three (3) days prior to scheduled bid opening by calling (401) 553-8830. 1. Bid Bond or Certified Bank Check: Must be for 10% of the price of the Bid. 2. Performance Bond or Certified Bank Check: Must be for 100% of completed cost of project/service. Any questions may be directed via email to Tyler Carney, Assistant Finance Director, at tcarney@johnston-ri.us. The contract shall be for a period of 3 (three) years. The bid may be renewed by mutual agreement in writing by the contractor and the Town of Johnston. The renewal may be for a period equal to two (2) additional one-year periods. The Finance Director or his designee may waive any or all bids for cause, failure to meet specifications or any reason deemed appropriate. The Town of Johnston reserves the right to reject any or all responses or parts thereof, to waive any informality in them, or accept any bid deemed in the best interest of the Town
