Site work for a water / sewer project in Portland, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Multnomah County Drainage District No. 1 ("District" or "MCDD") requests Bids for the above referenced project. Work under the Contract consists of Installing a new 3" restrained SDR-21 PVC water service, an 8" restrained SDR-21 PVC fire line, fire hydrant, tracer wire, and associated appurtenances. Connect the new service lines to the existing and install new, at-grade RPBA and RPDA devices, decommissioning, and testing. The lines will be installed through two properties to MCDD campus. This work will include utility crossings, including gas line crossings, permanent gravel and asphalt trench restoration, and installation of bollards through two private properties and on the MCDD campus For further information regarding this project contact: James Kanoff, Procurement and Contract Analyst Email: jkanoff@mcdd.org Engineers Estimate for this project is $480,000 to $535,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Any statements made by the District or its representatives at the Pre-Bid meeting will not be binding on the District unless confirmed by written Addendum. Protests, technical questions, requests for clarification or changes of specifications and/or bidding requirements, including substitution requests, must be received by the Procurement Analyst in writing no later than seven (7) calendar days prior the Bid Due Date Bidders shall comply with all applicable BOLI and CCB requirements including all filing, notification, and payment requirements; retainage for payment for labor, and the filing of a $30,000 public works bond with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board. The Public Works Bond shall be obtained from a corporate surety authorized to do business in this state. The Project is a Public Work. By submission of a Bid, the Bidder agrees to be bound by and will comply with the provisions of (1) ORS 279C.800 through 279C.870 relating to State of Oregon, BOLI Prevailing Wage Rates and (2) if applicable, 40 U.S.C. 3141 to 3148.
