(1): Job J3P3112B Route 50 PETTIS County. ADA improvements from Emmet Avenue to Murray Avenue in Sedalia, the total length of improvement being 0.229 miles. Range: 100K to 250K Each Bid Shall Be Accompanied by a Certified Check or Cashier's Check, Drawn on Any Bank or Trust Company and Payable to "Director of Revenue, Credit State Road Fund", or Bidders May Submit a Bid Bond for Each Project Bid or an Annual Bid Bond That Would Cover All Projects Bid for a Twelve Month Beginning July 1 and Ending June 30 of Each Missouri State Fiscal Year. Annual Bid Bond Forms Must Be Submitted by June 15 of Each Year. Bid bonds must be Submitted on a form furnished by the commission, executed by the bidder and corporate surety, and naming the "State of Missouri, acting by and Through the Missouri highways and transportation commission", as obligee) for an amount (or penal sum) equal to 5% or more of the bid, Which check or bond shall be deposited with the commission as a guaranty and forfeited in the event the bidder is found to be the successful bidder and fails to comply with the terms of the request for bid. Any Contractor Who Desires to Bid on the Project(S) Involved in the Bid Opening Must Have a Contractor Questionnaire on File in the Office of the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission at Least Seven Full Days (168 Hours) Prior to the Time of Bid Opening. Job Number Calendar Days Daily Road User Cost J3P3112B 31 $3,200. Liquidated Damages for Contract Administrative Costs. Should the contractor fail to complete the work on or before the completion date specified in Section 2.0, or within the number of calendar days specified in Section 2.1, whichever occurs first, the contractor will be charged contract administrative liquidated damages in accordance with Sec 108.8 in the amount of $250 per calendar day for each calendar day, or partial day thereof, that the work is not fully completed. For projects in combination, these damages will be charged in full for failure to complete one or more projects within the above specified completion date or calendar days. Liquidated Damages for Road User Costs. Should the contractor fail to complete the work on or before the completion date specified in Section 2.0, or within the number of calendar days specified in Section 2.1, whichever occurs first, the contractor will be charged road user costs in accordance with Sec 108.8 in the amount specified in Section 2.1 for each calendar day, or partial day thereof, that the work is not fully completed. These damages are in addition to the contract administrative damages and any other damages as specified elsewhere in this contract.
