General Information 1.1 This is a performance-based contract for Security Alarm Services at Terminus Dam/Lake Kaweah, Tulare County, CA. The overall responsibility of the Contractor is to plan, coordinate, organize, manage, and perform the activities described within this contract in accordance with the performance objectives. 2. Introduction This Performance Work Statement describes the basic objectives for Security Alarm Services and on-site checking, adjustment, and repair of alarm systems and sirens at the Terminus Dam Tower, Project Office, Shop, Butler Building, Kaweah Heritage Visitor Center and Horse Creek Campground Fee Building. A one-time evaluation and installation of an alarm system in the Base Year is also required in this contract. Repair or replacement of faulty equipment will be done at the same time of the inspections. 3. Description of Services The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and supplies necessary to fulfill the terms and conditions stated in this contract. The Contractor shall be responsible for all costs related to performing Security Alarm System services. All work, materials and equipment shall be subject to the control and approval of the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR 4. Pre-Work Meeting 4.1 At least ten (10) days prior to commencement of work, the Contractor shall contact the COR to schedule a pre-work meeting. This meeting will be held at the Terminus Dam/Lake Kaweah Park Headquarters, located at 34443 Sierra Drive, Lemon Cove, CA 93244. 4.2 During the pre-work meeting, the Contractor shall provide the COR with the following for approval The Contractor shall submit an Accident Prevention Plan (APP) as required by EM 385-1-1, Safety and Health Requirements Manual. Uniform and Personal Protection Equipment is be used for the execution of contract services (PPE). Insurance: The Contractor shall procure and maintain insurance for any and all employees during the entire period of his/her performance under this contract and in accordance with the Contract Clause, "Insurance - Work on a "Government Installation": o Workmen's Compensation and Employers' Liability Insurance. o Workmen's Compensation and Occupational Disease Coverage in accordance with statutory limits. o Employers' Liability coverage with a minimum limit of $100,000. o Comprehensive Automobile Liability Insurance: Bodily Injury coverage with minimum limits of $200,000 per person and $500,000 per occurrence. o Property Damage Coverage with a minimum limit of $20,000 per occurrence. Contractor Vehicle Identification: All Contractor vehicles shall be identified with the company name or logo conspicuously displayed on door panels. Professionally made magnetic signs or pressure sensitive decals may be used to comply with this specification.
