CSC OF EASTERN HANCOCK COUNTY ("School"), is requesting proposals from qualified offerors to provide rou- tine operation, repair, or maintenance of existing structures, buildings, or real property owned by School ("Project"). Contract provi- sions are set forth in the RFP. The offeror must submit a financial state- ment, a statement of ex- perience, a proposed plan or plans for per- forming the Project, and the resources, labor, technology, materials, supplies, and equipment the offeror has available for the performance of the Project. Discussions may be con- ducted with, and best and final offers obtained from, responsible offer- ors who submit propos- als determined to be rea- sonably susceptible of being selected for award. If School later de- termines to proceed with the project, School may enter into negotiations with the offeror whose proposal has been se- lected by a committee considering: (1) re- sponses to the RFP; (2) any interviews with se- lected offerors; and (3) evaluation of fees. Code 5-16-6; 5-16-13; 5-22; and 36-1-12; 2 CFR 200 ; and 48 CFR 52 and as outlined in the RFP. Offerors must also be able to and meet all requirements found in applicable RFP, public contract, and public work project statutes. Prior to approval and exe- cution of the contract, the responsible offeror who submits proposals determined to be rea- sonably susceptible of being selected for award must furnish satisfactory evidence showing evi- dence of financial re- sponsibility and it can faithfully perform the contract and all obliga- tions arising hereunder. School expects to award the contract for Project at its January 9, 2023 board meeting to the re- sponsible offeror(s) whose proposal is deter- mined in writing to be the most advantageous to School, taking into con- sideration price and the other evaluation factors set forth in the RFP. School reserves the right to hold proposals, includ- ing any alternates, for up to 60 days from the date of the opening. School reserves in its sole dis- cretion the right to can- cel the solicitation, reject any and all proposals in whole or part, delay the opening, ask for new proposals, is not obli- gated to accept the low- est or any other pro- posal, and may waive any irregularities, dis- crepancies, omissions, variances or informalities in the request for pro- posal procedure.
