Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Citronelle, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Mobile County is taking sealed bids for labor, equipment, materials, and any incidentals required to complete the work required for the following project of the County. Project Number RA49-05-22 for Resurfacing, Restoration, Rehabilitation (RRR) Full Depth Reclamation of Sand Ridge Road from 2.33 miles west of US Hwy 45 eastward for 1.50 miles. Fifty (50) days are allowed for the construction of this project. This bid is intended to comply with the Rebuild Alabama Act, No. 2019-2, and Alabama Code Title 39, the Alabama Public Works Law. Bidders shall be required to comply with the provisions of the Rebuild Alabama Act, No. 2019-2 and Title 39 of the Alabama Code regardless if the requirement is explicitly detailed in the bid proposal or not. The contractor shall meet all Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) Bonding and Licensing requirements as well as all applicable laws, ordinances, and codes of the U. S. Government, the State of Alabama, any relevant municipality, and the COUNTY, and, specifically and without limitation, shall comply with all provisions of the Beason-Hammond Alabama Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act, commonly referred to as the Immigration Act. If applicable to a contract resulting from this bid invitation, the successful bidder must comply with the Mobile County Contractor Felony Investigation Policy, available in the County Engineering Department, or online electronically County reserves the right to accept or reject all Bids or any portion thereof. This project will be eligible for a Certificate of Exemption as provided by Act 2021-372. Once the low bidder is determined, the County will request a copy of the Form ST-EXC 1 prior to award of the bid to the lowest responsible bidder. The contractor shall provide the County with the Form STEXC 1 within 48 hours of the Countys request.
