All bids shall be enclosed and sealed in an envelope and endorsed: BID PROPOSAL FOR THE SHERIFF OFFICE BUILDING RE-ROOFING PROJECT PWP# WP-2023-12 Bids must be on the proposal form provided and must be accompanied by a bid bond, a certified check, a cashier's check or cash in the amount equal to at least FIVE PERCENT (5%) of total bid. All bonds including bid bonds shall be executed by a corporate surety company authorized to do business in the State of Nevada The attention of the bidders is directed to the State Contractor's License law that a contractor hold a valid license, at the time of bidding, of a class corresponding to the work to be done. Bidder shall also hold a valid City Business License before commencing construction. Minimum wage rates have been determined by the Labor Commissioner of the State of Nevada and are set forth in the Contract Documents. In no case shall the wage rates be less than prescribed therein. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all items specified in the bid request, as is deemed in the best interest of the County. The County reserves the right to waive any minor technicalities in the preparation of these bidding documents or specifications. The award may be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The lowest responsible and responsive bidder will be judged on the basis of price, performance to specifications, bidder's qualifications, quality and utility of services, supplies, materials or equipment offered and their adaptability to the required purposes and the best interest of the public, each of such factors being considered.
