Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Lake Tapps, Washington. Completed plans call civil work for a fire station.
This project has been awarded to Andy Johnson and Company, Inc. The contract includes general trades, mechanical, electrical, and related site work for a new single-story fire station of primary wood frame with steel and concrete elements. Station will include fire apparatus parking area with supporting functions. Living and sleeping quarters for 24-hour use by fire department personnel. Station is approximately 10,000 square feet in total. Project involves demolition of existing fire station, 4-plex building, office building and storage shed. Base bid cost range of $7,700,000 to $9,000,000 not including sales tax. This project is subject to meet Washington State prevailing wages rates. All work performed on the project will be subject to the approved wage determination rates in the bid documents.
