Renovation of a civil project in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Bids for the construction of a groundwater well treatment facility at the Downingtown Municipal Water Authority (DMWA) water treatment facility, located at the terminus of Water Plant Way, in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, will be received by DMWA. The project consists of all services, labor, tools, equipment, materials, transportation, and supervision for the upgrades and improvements to a groundwater treatment system, and requires the installation of chemical storage and injection equipment, water quality analyzers, flow metering equipment, construction of a chemical feed building, and yard piping modifications Bidders are required to comply with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of 1961, P.L. 987, No. 442, Funding for this project is provided in part by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority. Bids and bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the instructions to bidders. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the work as described in the instructions to bidders. DMWA reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all bids or items herein in the best interest of DMWA.
