The City of San Leandro is soliciting proposals from qualified architectural firms in accordance with this Request for Proposals (RFP). Awards resulting from this RFP will be a fixed contract with an initial term of up to three (3) years, through Fiscal Year 2026. Purchase orders will be issued based on the estimated cost for each project undertaken up to the amount of the contract. The City of San Leandro seeks written proposals from interested and qualified architectural firms to provide on-call design services for facade, outdoor dining areas, and other enhancement projects funded through the Business Improvement Program or grant programs as part of San Leandro's commercial district revitalization strategy. The City anticipates that up to three firms will be selected to enter into design contracts with the City of San Leandro. Compensation will be on a project-by-project basis with individual projects under the agreement not generally expected to exceed $10,000 per project. Contracts are expected to allow for roughly $20,000 in design services annually depending on the number of contracts awarded and the number of anticipated projects. Only firms that respond to this RFP will be eligible to enter into contracts. This RFP is being issued by the City of San Leandro, Economic Development Division. All submissions will be reviewed by City staff and selected firms will enter into design contracts with the City of San Leandro. At its discretion the City may later enter into agreements with applicants not initially selected. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
