As of October 12, 2023, a bid date and time has been released for a general contractor. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. A more detailed scope is expected to be released on a future date. Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation (IPTC) IFB 23-08-484 IndyGo Bus Stop Improvements 2024 Construction Project Summary: Indianapolis Public Transportation Corp. dba IndyGo, is seeking bids for qualified General Contractors! This project provides for the improvement of bus stops along Lafayette Road and other locations around Indianapolis. The work includes, but is not limited to, concrete pads for benches and shelters, sidewalk, curbs, curb ramps, minor drainage work and asphalt resurfacing. Select locations involve traffic signal modifications, signage, and pavement markings / Bus Stop Project ID’s 2021-B / 2022-A / 2022-B. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
