As of January 26, 2023, the project has been awarded, however, a timeline for construction has not been confirmed. This section covers the general requirements for the Contractor's temporary facilities at the job site and for the prosecution of the work. The Work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of, but not limited to, furnishing tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and manufactured articles, and furnishing all labor, transportation, and services, including fuel, power, water, and essential communications, and performing all work or other operations required for the fulfillment of the Contract in strict accordance with the Contract Documents. Any minor work not specifically mentioned in the specifications or shown on the Plans but necessary for the proper completion of the work shall be considered as being a part of and included in the Contract. The work shall be executed in the proper manner and the Contractor shall not be entitled to extra or additional compensation for the same. Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required for the replacement of approximately 3,880 linear feet of water main and appurtenances. Remove and dispose of approximately 205 linear feet of transite water main and abandon in place approximately 3,528 linear feet of cast iron water main. Replace water main and appurtenances. Complete tie-ins of existing services to new water mains. Complete tie-in of new water main to existing water mains. Install fire hydrants and appurtenances. Other miscellaneous items shown in the contract documents. The project work will be withing the right-of-way of Oddie Boulevard and Wells Avenue in Reno, Nevada. PRE-BID CONFERENCE AND SITE VISIT: A pre-bid conference and site visit will NOT be held. Bids received after the date and time set for receipt will be REJECTED. Facsimile and Hard Copy Bids will NOT be accepted BID OPENING: There will not be a public bid opening as bids are opened electronically. Bid results and the bid tabulation will be posted on NGEM and bidders will be notified electronically of the results. TMWA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation the right to reject any or all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids, and to reject the bid of any bidder if TMWA believes that it would not be in the best interest of TMWA to make an award to that bidder. TMWA also reserves the right to waive informalities. Bids will be evaluated as prescribed in Nevada Revised Statute 338.147.
