T own Council of Yorktown, Indiana will receive sealed bids for the resurfacing of certain roads, enumerated in the plans and specifications Upon satisfactory review of bids a contract is planned for award, on Monday, December 19, 2022, at 5:30 p.m., at a regular meeting of the Yorktown Town Council. The Town of Yorktown is an equal opportunity employer. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in an amount not less than 10% of the bid. Should it prove impossible to construct the facilities for any reason whatsoever, the Town shall not be liable for any payments whatsoever to the contractor. All proposals shall be on State Form 96 and current financial statement from bidders' bank as prescribed by the State Board of Accounts (including completed Non-Collusion Affidavit). The Town of Yorktown reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond in the sum of the full amount of the contract, a labor and materials bond in the sum of the full amount of the contract, and certificate of insurance.
