The City of Sedalia is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide for the operational oversight, maintenance and management of the City's three wastewater treatment plants and compost facility. The qualified firm, working under the direction of the Public Works Director, will supervise the City of Sedalia's employees and will be the City's acting supervisor. Examples of responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1. Manage day-to-day operations of the three wastewater treatment facilities and compost site. 2. Provide staffing resources sufficient to meet the City's requirements including adequacy during periods of other staff absences. 3. Coordinate the Stormwater Management (MS4) and Industrial Pretreatment Programs. 5. Continue implementing the 5-year Capital Improvement Program for the wastewater treatment plants and compost facility. This project requires compliance with Section 285.530 RSMo in relation to employment of unauthorized aliens to perform work within the state of Missouri and the requirement for participation in a federal work authorization program (E-verify) The City of Sedalia in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and Regulations, hereby notifies all respondents to this request that bidders will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
