Location of Work Bass Island Park, 347 Second St, Manchester, NH 03102 Project Description The Department of Public Works (DPW), Parks, Recreation, and Cemetery Division (PRC) recognizes the need for improvements to the Bass Island Park's river banks with work including but not limited to: 1. Amend the Bass Island Park Peninsula and boat ramp erosion areas. 2. Install erosion prevention measures to prevent further erosion of Bass Island Park by the Piscataquog River. 3. Create an annual preventative maintenance plan for PRC to perform ongoing proactive measures. The plan should include but not be limited to a checklist, estimated budget, suggested schedule, required personnel, including their quantities and skills, and predicted length of time for each practice to be completed. Questions regarding this request should be expressed in writing and directed to Kate Waldo, Park Projects Manager, at KWaldo@manchesternh.gov. The contract term will be 2/1/2023 through 2/1/2024 with an option to extend or renew. This option is solely at PRC's discretion. Agreement to extend/renew must be made in writing no less than 30 days before the end of the contract.
