McHenry County Division of Transportation desire to contract with a qualified engineering firm to assist the County of McHenry in developing Phase I and Phase II Engineering for the rehabilitation or replacement of the Graf Road over Piscasaw Creek (056-3163) Chemung Township bridge. All work shall conform to IDOT/FHWA policies and procedures for federal aid projects and will be completed under applicable BLR and BDE Manuals. The Graf Road bridge (SN 056-3163) was constructed in 1998 as a 95-foot long, three-span with PPC deck beams and concrete pile abutments. The sufficiency rating is 28.0 (2022), and the superstructure is rated 4 (poor) and substructure rated 6 (satisfactory). The sufficiency ratings in 2018 and 2020 were 82.5 and 62.5, respectively. The bridge roadway width is 24 feet. The approach roadway width is 24 feet. The bridge was closed to traffic in June 2022.
