Lake 10 - The Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Oil and Gas Resources Management ("ODNR") is requesting quotes for title research services. This title research is required before ODNR begins a plugging project to correct conditions causing imminent health and safety risks to the public and environment at three (3) idle and orphaned wells in Lake County in the township of Painesville and Willoughby. The project consists of a search of three (3) well located in the Ohio county of Lake in the townships of Painesville and Willoughby. Attached for your consideration is a copy of the proposed contract and the Appendix. The Well GPS Coordinates, Parcel Number, County, Township, Well Name, and API Number are listed on the attached as Exhibit A to the proposed contract. Please be aware that the Well Names and API Numbers reflect the Division's most recent records related to these wells. Historic information may be different. Delivery date is 10 days from the date authorization to proceed with work is issued
The deliverables are as follows: For each well ("Subject Well") listed in Exhibit A, search the public records of Test County, Ohio, as disclosed by the public indexes covering a period of no less than forty (40) years prior to the Orphan Ready date and relating to the Subject Tract on which Subject Well is located;
Prepare and submit a written report that is identical to Exhibit B of the proposed contract for each Subject Well to the extent that such information can be ascertained from the public records. The required information includes all of the following:

b. Current address, or last known address if the current address is unlocatable The report for each Subject Well must be delivered within ten (10) days, unless for good cause the time is extended by ODNR in writing.
ODNR will be awarding the contract for title research services pursuant to its authority under R. C. 127.16 (B) (1). The maximum amount which ODNR may award to any particular supplier under this statute is $49,999.99 per fiscal year. No contract will be awarded for this project to a particular supplier where the dollar amount of this contract, together with the dollar amounts of other contracts awarded by ODNR to the particular supplier for fiscal year 2023, would be in excess of $49,999.99.
