Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Dublin, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
Sealed bids are hereby solicited for construction of the Hangar Site at the New River Valley Airport. Improvements include erosion & sediment control, grading, paving, and constructing water sewer, stormwater systems to a corporate hangar building pad, as well as site stabilization and other ancillary work associated with the Hangar Site improvements. All questions concerning the project shall be submitted in writing to Jamie Peck, Eden & Associates, by emailing jamie@edenandassociates.com and to be given consideration must be received at least ten (10) business days prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bids. Eden & Associates is the only point through which information will be disseminated. Bid security must accompany each proposal in accordance with the Information for Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the opening thereof. The procedure specified under Code of Virginia Section 2.2-4330(B)(1) shall apply: "The bidder shall give notice in writing of his claim of right to withdraw his bid within two business days after the conclusion of the bid opening procedure...". The New River Valley Airport Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities and irregularities in bidding and to accept bids which are considered to be in the best interest of the Airport.
