Add to this section, the work necessary for the completion of this contract consists of two (2) full interior elevator cab renovations, replacing existing fire alarm control panel and associated electrical components and all other incidental items to complete the work in place required by the Contract Documents at the Newport Beach Central Library located at 1000 Avocado Avenue, Newport Beach, 92660. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. ORIGINAL COPIES OF BIDDERS BONDS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE CITY CLERK PRIOR TO BID OPENING DATE. All responses for this Bid are due at or before the time shown on each Notice Inviting Bids.
