Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Sykesville, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
In cases of disputes as to whether the service quoted meets the specifications, the decision of the Town shall be final and binding on both parties. The Town has been awarded a POS grant to perform the following repairs on the wooden pedestrian bridges at the Town's trail system located at Millard Cooper Park: Remove and replace approximately 150 LF of wooden pedestrian bridge surface, as described in the attached repair recommendation memo provided by KCI. Remove and replace wooden pedestrian bridge railing with either new railing or railing curb, depending on bridge height at each location, as described in the attached repair recommendation memo provided by KCI. Grout bag repair on the undermining south abutment on bridge #1, as described in the attached repair recommendation memo and engineered plans provided by KCI. Town of Sykesville is requesting written, sealed proposals for the Millard Cooper Park Pedestrian Bridge Rehabilitation Questions regarding this project should be directed to Kevin Rubenstein, Town Planner, Town of Sykesville, 410-795-8959 krubenstein@sykesville.net The Mayor and Town Council reserves the right to waive any formalities and to reject all bids.
