Renovation of a residential development in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
A. The Plumbing Contractor will be the General Contractor for this project. B. The work to be done under this contract consists of removing and recycling the existing copper domestic water mains (cold water, hot water, recirculated hot water) located above an acoustical tile ceiling in the first floor corridors of a two-story building, and replacing them with new CPVC piping. C. The work to be done also includes but not limited to: 1. Isolation valves, electrical bonding of existing to remain copper water pipes, removal and reinstallation of existing acoustical ceiling tiles and grid, pipe insulation, and hangers. D. The General Contractor shall remove, store, and deliver all ferrous and non-ferrous materials to a waste recycler. The money received for recycling these materials shall be turned over to the owner, along with the waste receipts from the waste recycler. The Project consists of but not limited to: Removal and replacement of existing copper cold, hot, and recirculated hot water mains located above the acoustical tile ceiling in the first floor corridors of one building at the Plymouth Housing Authoritys High Cliffs development. For Replacement of existing domestic hot and cold water mains in one building at one site. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate General Bid Deadline 1/5/23 Time 2:00 P.M.
