Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Pittsfield Charter Township, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project consists of the construction of three (3) midblock crossings on Lohr Road between Lohr Circle and Weatherstone Drive, on East Textile Road at the Pittsfield Glen entrance (Whispering Springs Drive), and on Stone School Road at Addington Lane. All three (3) locations include construction of concrete curb ramp and sidewalk, curb, pavement markings, signage, solar rectangular rapid flashing beacons, temporary traffic control, SESC measures, and turf establishment. The Stone School/Addington Lane location also includes installation of storm sewer and storm structures. The Lohr Road location also includes curb reconstruction, HMA driveway and road reconstruction, storm sewer and structures, mast arm installation, and wiring for a new case sign and downlight, including conduit and DTE meter coordination. No pre-bid walkthrough will be scheduled at this time. Any questions regarding the project shall be brought to the attention of Claire Martin at Stantec Consulting Michigan Inc., in writing at claire.martin@stantec.com. Questions by telephone calls are prohibited. Questions will not be accepted if received less than seven (7) calendar days before the bids are due. All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall contain, as a minimum, all of the following: Bidders Qualification and Experience Statement (QES-1-4), Proposal (P-1-6), Designation of Major Subcontractors and Suppliers (MS-1), Certification Regarding Debarment, Suspension and other Responsibility Matters (DS-1), Legal Status of Bidder (LS-1), Bid Certification (BC-1). In addition to the submittal of the original proposal (P-1-6), the CONTRACTOR will also submit two (2) copies of the proposal (P-1-6). Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, money order or bid bond, payable to the OWNER, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Proposal, as a Bid Security. The Bid Security of the Bidders under consideration will be returned after approval of the Contract by the OWNER. All others will be returned after the Proposal opening. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Labor and Material Bond, each in the amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract. Withdrawal of any Proposal is prohibited for a period of 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The OWNER reserves the right to accept any Proposal, to reject any or all Proposals, and to waive any irregularities in any Proposal, in the interest of the OWNER. Bidders shall not discriminate against any employees or firm due to origin, race, age or physical conditions. CONTRACTOR shall be an equal opportunity employer. The Bidder must have purchased a set of Plans and Specifications from Stantec Consulting Michigan Inc. in order to submit a bid on this project. Document requests shall indicate whether request is by: Prospective Bidder, Prospective Subcontractor, Prospective Supplier, or other.
