Demolition, site work, new construction and renovation of a retail development in Callaway, Florida. Completed plans call for the demolition of a retail development; for the renovation of a 5,000-square-foot retail development; for site work for a retail development; and for the construction of a retail development.

The proposed project will demolish and rehabilitate damaged commercial structures and parking areas in accordance with approved design plans. The scope of work for this solicitation is limited to the North Outparcel component of the project, further described as follows: A. Project Component A is related to reconstruction of an Outparcel on the project site and replacement of a Pylon Sign. Activities for Component A will include: Demolition of the existing building Reconstruction +/- 5,000 sf of outparcel building into 2 suites of approximately 2,500 sf each with drive-thru located on the south side of the building. Reconstruction of the existing pylon sign Proposed demolition and rehabilitation activities will not change the size or capacity of existing structures by more than 20 percent and the activities do not involve a change in land use. This contract is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act, the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, the Copeland Anti-Kickback Act, and Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. Minority and womens business enterprises are hereby solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material and/or supply needs. All bidders must make positive efforts to use small and minority owned business and women business enterprises. The City of Callaway is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive any irregularity in the proposals or proposal procedure, and will award the proposal to the lowest, most responsive, responsible bidder according to the citys needs as determined by the City Commission.
