St. Cloud Fire Station 6 will provide critical fire and emergency service infrastructure to keep up with increasing emergency incidents and a gap in service delivery response times to a high life and property hazard area in the southern part of our community. Fire Station 6 will also provide heavily-needed resources to maintain city-wide coverage as complex incidents increase. Fire Station 6 will be modeled after existing St. Cloud Fire stations, while keeping up with modern health, safety, and response standards. This will be an “around-the-clock” community facility, staffed with fire suppression and emergency medical personnel, with an approximate facility area of 19,000 square feet. This project is in included in the City of St. Cloud FY 2025 - 2030 CIP. As of November 4, 2025, the project is in design development. A general contractor has been selected. Construction is expected to start in June of 2026. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
