Demolition, site work and addition to an educational facility in Charleston, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the addition of a 5,000-square-foot educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The Owner has retained the services of a Program Manager to represent the Owner's interest during the construction of the work. Scope of Work: The work includes, but is not limited to, an add of a activity room to the athletic portion of the original building on campus. It will be directly connected by hallway. It will have toilets and a fountain to serve the additional occupancy load of the addition. The facility will be composed predominantly of load bearing masonry veneered with utility brick and reinforced with structural steel, joists, trusses, and metal decking. Finishes will include but are not limited to: SVT, terrazzo, carpet, acoustical ceilings, paint and additional finishes. The package includes basic electrical services, life safety systems, information technology systems, and cable trays. Sitework is also part of this contract and consists of the installation of utilities, paving, sidewalks, grassing and landscaping. Project will be required to be designed and constructed in accordance with CCSDs Educational Specifications and Design Requirements QUESTIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY: January 6, 2023 @ 3:00 P.M EDT via above e-mail The work consists of a 5,000 SF athletic addition building that will supplement existing facilities and programs.
