Renovation of a mixed-use development in Olympia, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
This project has been awarded to Betschart Mechanical, Inc Scope of base bid work includes the following: Replace two existing boilers at Black Lake Elementary School with two new gas fired boilers. Replace two existing boilers at Tumwater High School with three new gas fired boilers.Demolish existing boilers and portions of existing piping and associated electrical work. Provide new piping and accessories as required to install new boilers. Provide new flues and combustion air ductwork. Upgrade existing Alerton controls and associated electrical work to suit new equipment. Provide power wiring for new boilers. Provide new piping insulation and hydronic balancing Alternate Bid #1 work includes the following: At Black Lake Elementary School, demolish existing Pumps. A certified check or bank cashiers check or bid bond executed by a State licensed surety company made payable to Tumwater School District is required with each bid, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Base Bid plus Additive Alternates, if any. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any and/or all. Bids for any reason and, in particular, to reject a Bid not accompanied by any required bid security or data required by the Bidding Documents or a Bid in any way incomplete or irregular.
