a. Project Location: Work shall be performed under this Contract on the campus of the University of Iowa at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, Pomerantz Family Pavilion, 720 Melrose Avenue, Iowa City, Iowa. b. The Constructor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment necessary for, and incidental to, construction of this project as indicated on Drawings dated December 14, 2022. c. Work shall include everything requisite and necessary to finish work properly, notwithstanding that not every item of labor or materials or accessories required to make project complete may be specifically mentioned. d. General Description of Work: 1) Project consists of work associated with replacement of radioactive source for existing gamma knife equipment. This includes site work including vegetation removal and site restoration after installation and removal of the existing radiation source from the project site, sidewalk removal and replacement, excavation and grading, concrete areaway lid removal and reinstallation including anchors/strapping, traffic control, temporary weather protection, coordination of site access, new waterproofing, shielding block wall removal and reinstallation, crane for equipment rigging, and flooring replacement. This project will involve professional engineering services to coordinate civil and structural work for the removal and replacement of existing Gamma Knife equipment.Targeted Small Business (TSB): The certified Iowa TSB participation goal for this project is 10 percent (10%) of the Base Bid
