This project includes replacement of the reuse pump building and Plant Instrumentation & Controls maintenance building as well as construction of a new building to provide plant operators with designated office space, breakroom and restroom facilities and a remodel of the current shared lab/office building. Purchase of an adjacent parcel may be necessary to provide adequate space for the new office building. The shared lab and operator office building at the Pan American WWTP is original to the plant and is no longer adequate to provide work and rest spaces for plant staff. The current I&C maintenance building does not provide adequate storage for parts and components that need to be kept on hand. As of June 14, 2024, this project is included in the city's 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and construction is planned for 10/2025 - 09/2026. Design and Engineering planned for 10/2024 - 09/2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
