Site work for a civil project in Lakewood, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The work to be performed under this Contract consists of traffic signal and intersection upgrades at Hope Chapel Road and Miller Road in Lakewood Township and at Hope Chapel Road and South Lake Drive in Lakewood Township. This work includes, but is not limited to, construction of curb and sidewalk, roadway widening, drainage, installation and removal of traffic signal foundations/equipment, wiring, installation of backplates, timing directive upgrades, and removal and installation of traffic stripes and markings. Estimated construction cost range: $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Bidders must comply with P.L. 1975, C. 127 and 10% Surety required. John N. Ernst, Ocean County Engineer. Prior to any construction/demolition activity on site, with the exception of setting up traffic control, the Contractor shall make or have made a video (DVD) and/or still picture file of the existing conditions that are adjacent to the roadway, within the project limits. Particular attention should be paid to foundations, porches, sidewalks and driveways. The Contractor shall submit a color copy of the video (DVD) and/or still picture files to the Engineer prior to start of construction
