Site work for a mixed-use development in Skokie, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a golf course; and playground / park / athletic field.
**As of January 20, ,2023 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.* The Skokie Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any technicalities in the bidding if it should be deemed in the public's best interest. The Work of this project is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq. A prevailing wage determination has been made but the Park District the IDOL for public works projects in Cook County. The contract entered into for the work will be drawing in compliance with said law and proposals should be prepared accordingly and provide payment for all laborers, workmen and mechanics needed to perform the work at no less than the prevailing rate of wages for each craft, type of worker or mechanic.
