Salt Lake City Department of Public Utilities (SLCDPU) is soliciting Bids from qualified slide gate manufacturers, vendors, and local panel fabrication shops to supply one (1) 42-inch heavy duty cast iron slide gate and one (1) 36-inch heavy duty cast iron slide gate. for the Mountain Dell Dam - rebuilding of Gates and Valves project at the Mountain Dell Dam. The purpose of this project is to rehabilitate and/or replace critical components of the Mountain Dell Dam Outlet. To get digital copies of the RFP log into U3P and navigate to the project in question. You will need to register in the Utah Supplier Portal to view and download the project information. It is the responsibility of applicant to periodically check and download additional information that may be posted. The Request for Proposals will be available January 27, 2023. A presubmittal site visit is not planned or scheduled. Technical questions about this RFP should be posted to U3P Utah Public Procurement Place. The electronic copy must be uploaded as a PDF to U3P. The Bids will be analyzed and reviewed by an internal selection committee at SLCDPU. After completing this evaluation, the City may negotiate a purchase order with the selected vendor.
