The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Multiple awards may be made for various types of aggregate. Factors which will determine ultimate purchases by Henry County are; unit bid prices, terms of purchase, location of project, availability of gradation, type of material desired for a particular application, cost of transporting from pickup site to County stockpile, quality of product, and/or type of surface desired. No bid will be considered unless it be accompanied by a bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio or a certified check from a solvent bank in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total bid to guarantee that if said bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and the performance of it properly secured.
